A circular design challenge for sustainable and accessible sanitation structures

The French Red Cross, in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross Society**,** invites you to take part in this new humanitarian design challenge dedicated to circular innovation for dignity and sanitation**.** The goal is to ****redesign the structure and walls of pit latrines used in the Kakuma refugee camp, which are often made of costly, non-sustainable iron sheets. We are looking for creative, sustainable and replicable solutions that can improve living conditions, preserve dignity, and reduce waste. Applications are open until February 28, 2026.
